Three militants killed in shoot-out in Srinagar

The Indian army said it locked down the Parimpora area of Srinagar on Wednesday after three militants were killed in a shoot-out with soldiers.
The encounter in the capital of the Indian-administered Kashmir lasted for nearly 16 hours.
Soldiers were seen searching a house and carrying out the bodies of the killed militants. Security forces were also seen firing tear gas on protesters who rallied near the site of the shooting.
