South Korea reports 4 additional cases of UK-linked variant

South Korea has reported four additional COVID-19 cases of the UK-linked mutated variant…and its first case of the South Africa-linked strain.
That brings the country’s total number of patients infected with the UK variant to 9.
Three of them are family members of a previously confirmed patient,… who tested positive for the variant after he died.
The South Africa-variant case involves a patient who recently visited the country.
To contain these two mutated variants that are fast circulating around the world,… South Korea is set to require all entrants to the country to submit a negative PCR test result.
8-hundred-24 COVID-19 cases were reported in the country on Saturday.
