A hospital in South Wales has been forced to suspend surgeries and divert ambulance admissions elsewhere, following a major outbreak of coronavirus.

The Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantrisant took the drastic steps after seeing cases within the hospital rise to 82.

Llantrisant is in the county of Rhondda Cynon Taf, one of the first Welsh counties to be placed under local lockdown restrictions.
