Demonstrators in Beirut, Lebanon, have continued to cause unrest in the capital as their frustration of last week’s blast grows.

Protestors are demanding the government take responsibility for the blast and have an international investigation into the tragedy which killed over 150 people and left 300,000 homeless.

However, Michel Aoun, the president of Lebanon, has been quick to quash the prospect of an international investigation, calling it a “waste of time.” Mr Aoun has instead thrown his weight behind a domestic investigation.
