Protesters rallied against the US-brokered peace deal sealed between Israel and the UAE, as well as Israel’s annexation plans in the West Bank. Demonstrators were hurling rocks at Israeli military vehicles.
The Israel-UAE peace treaty, which was signed last week, establishes diplomatic ties between the two countries, and has triggered severe backlash in parts of the Arab and Islamic worlds.
