Iran has confirmed it is resumed enriching uranium at 20 percent at its underground Fordow nuclear facility, according to its government spokesman, in a move that further breaches the terms of a landmark nuclear deal signed with world powers in 2015.
President Trump abandoned the deal in 2018, citing Iranian non-compliance but his incoming counterpart Joe Biden has promised to revive the accord and lift sanctions on Iran.
