More than 70,000 people have been forced to evacuate California’s wine country as an active fire season continues, fueled by high temperatures and harsh winds.

The Zogg fire in Shasta County killed at least three people, tearing through 50,000 acres.

More than two dozen fires are burning in total throughout California and more hot and dry weather is expected over the next few days.

Over 3.8 million acres of land have been impacted by this season’s wildfires.
