Protesters rally outside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Jerusalem, on Saturday, August 8, in another round of anti-government demonstrations in Israel. Protests against Netanyahu have been taking place across the country for months, as a result of corruption charges allegations and what critics perceive as his government’s poor handling of the coronavirus pandemic, shown in an increase of the unemployment rate to 21 per cent, compared to the pre-pandemic rate of less than four per cent.
