Xi and Putin pledge further strategic cooperation in New Year greetings

President Xi reportedly said that this year, 2021, has significant meaning to their bilateral relations,… marking the 20th anniversary of the China-Russia Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation.
Putin too pointed out that China and Russia’s comprehensive strategic partnership has developed rapidly,… and that the two countries have maintained close trade cooperation while overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic.
