Polls have now closed and voters in Kuwait have cast their ballots in parliamentary elections.
They are looking to fill 50 seats and these are the first elections since 91-year-old ruler Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah passed away in September, to be replaced by his half-brother.
Voters say tackling the coronavirus-battered economy is the number one priority.

Al Jazeera’s Mohammed Jamjoom reports.
