The British government has warned that a third wave of coronavirus is possible in the new year — if restrictions are relaxed too far.

It comes as Prime Minister Boris Johnson faces a rebellion by some of his own Conservative MPs, who believe some of the rules planned after the latest national lockdown in England is lifted go too far.
