The Covid-19 pandemic is proving to be a business opportunity for ship-breaking yards in Turkey which is seeing a rise in the number of cruise liners sailing in on their final journeys. After the coronavirus all but sank the cruise industry, shipyards that had mostly been handling cargo and container vessels are now dismantling luxury liners for their scrap metal and other materials.
