With assembly members deciding to pass a controversial bill that forbids the filming of cops for ‘malicious reasons’, citizens in Paris, Lyon, and Bordeaux have held demonstrations against it. If the law becomes official, filming police officers in certain circumstances will be punishable with a year in prison or a fine of 45,000 euros.
