Texas cop tases & shoots man dead during mental health check

Newly released bodycam footage shows the ‘mental health’ check that ended tragically when a Texan police officer tased and fatally shot a father in front of his family.
According to the family of Patrick Warren, 52, the man was having a psychotic episode, which prompted the arrival of a mental health officer to his household. The footage shows the tense moments that led to Officer Contreras first tasing him and then firing his weapon at Warren three times.
Warren was taken to the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, where he died.
The family said that, while they believe Officer Contreras may have made a mistake, they insist he should be fired and arrested for accountability’s sake.
