Separation of Princes William and Harry during funeral an ‘unnecessary distraction’

Published on April 17, 2021 by

Princes William and Harry being separated during the procession behind Prince Philip’s coffin will be an “unnecessary distraction” which highlights the rift between them, according to Royal Commentator Ian Woods.

“A lot of comment here about the fact Princes William and Harry will not be walking side by side which you would expect brothers to do,” he said.

“Instead Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne is designated to walk between them.

“Now that seems to be an unnecessary distraction from the funeral, allowing that to happen, and a lot of people are wondering why that would be the case.

“It does seem to indicate that rift between the two brothers is still ongoing”.
