Tennis Champions Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal have praised Australia’s coronavirus response while in hotel quarantine ahead of the Australian Open.
Ms Williams described the 14-day quarantine period as “super strict but really good” and said Australia was “doing it right” when it came to the handling of the coronavirus.
“It’s definitely hard with a three-year-old to be in the hotel all day, but it’s worth it,” she said.
Mr Nadal said he “can’t complain” admitting Australia had done a good job with the coronavirus compared to the rest of the world.
