More and more graves are being dug in Brazilian cities as the country’s Covid-19 death toll continues to grow. Brazil is now only second to the US in coronavirus deaths, recording 142,921 dead as of September 30, 2020. The nation is the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak in Latin America, where cases have been soaring. The world has just hit 1 million Covid-19 deaths, with Brazil accounting for almost one-fifth of the global total.
