N. Korean leader Kim Jong-un visits flooded village, orders to supply grain reserves

The north of the border has also been battered with heavy rain in the past couple days,… and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un visited a village in Hwanghaebuk-do Province,… one of the regions, hit hard by the recent floods.
The Korean Central News Agency said Kim visited areas in Unpa county,… and ordered officials to distribute his own reserve stocks of grain to help the people suffering from the damage.
Kim also ordered officials to supply bedding, daily necessities and medicine,… and mobilize the army to help with the reconstruction.
The KCNA said nearly 730 homes and 600 hectares of rice paddy were flooded,… and more than 700 homes were destroyed.
It said no casualties were reported.
