Mohamed Salah tests positive for COVID

After news broke Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is the latest football star to either test positive for COVID-19 or suffer an injury during the international break, ESPN FC’s Ale Moreno, Jan Aage Fjortoft and Julian Laurens delve into whether it’s time to cut back on the amount of games being played. Moreno points the finger at people blaming national teams for playing all these games and cites the continuation of the UEFA Champions League as exactly the same premise with squads flying all over Europe. Fjortoft lets rip at the “idiots” involved in many of the different federations around the world but does think it’s important football continues during these “dark times.”
