Missing plane debris found in Java Sea

Indonesian authorities have pulled body parts, pieces of clothing and debris from the Java sea after a passenger jet went missing from Jakarta.

The country’s transport ministry launched the search and rescue mission after identifying a possible location of the crash site.

The Sriwijaya Air flight left from the capital and was en route to Pontianak in West Kalimantan Province.

The passenger jet disappeared from the radar four minutes after takeoff.

There were 62 people on board, including 12 crew members.

Officials are still determining the cause of the crash.
