Half of Yemeni children under 5 face acute malnutrition

The UN estimates that up to 400,000 children in war-torn Yemen could die of acute malnutrition this year.
Because of increased fighting and the global pandemic, nearly half the aid that was expected has not come through.
The six-year-long conflict has ravaged the country, and although famine has never been declared in Yemen, the UN continues to warn that it is on the brink.
