A growing number of Republican on Capitol Hill have confirmed they will dismiss the “stupid” impeachment trial into Donald Trump, which is due to commence next month.
The growing chorus of Republicans against convicting Donald Trump comes as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said the trial into whether the former president incited an insurrection will begin on the 8th of February.
At least two-third of the Senate will be needed in order to convict former President Trump.
