First foreign aid convoy enters Mekelle, says ICRC

International aid is heading to Mekelle, the Ethiopian city in the Tigray region that has been at the centre of recent fighting.
A convoy of trucks from the International Committee of the Red Cross is distributing medicines and other supplies to hospitals in Mekelle.
Last month, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed denied any civilians had been killed by his forces during the operation.
Some analysts suggest thousands of people have died, and rights groups are calling for an independent investigation.
