Female firefighters join Covid-19 battle in China as outbreak rages northern city of Shijiazhuang

Temporarily swapping out their water hoses for disinfectant sprayers, four female firefighters in northern China have been on the front lines in the battle against Covid-19 since their city Shijiazhuang went under a nearly three-week lockdown. On January 24, 2021, Wang Zishuo and three of her colleagues at the local firefighting and rescue detachment were on neighbourhood streets applying disinfectant and attending to the needs of over 7,000 residents.
