A group of protesters stormed the Westfield shopping centre at Bondi chanting and holding placards to protest the indoor mask mandate recently introduced by the Berejiklian government.
From today, everyone must wear a mask in shops, salons, indoor venues and on public transport, or risk a $200 on-the-spot fine.
Children under the age of 12 and people with health disorders are exempt from the rule but have been encouraged to comply if possible.
