Pro-choice activists protest in Poland

Pro-choice activists flocked to the area near the Parliament building in Warsaw on Wednesday, where police blocked the crowds outraged by the abortion ban.
Protesters were seen elbowing and arguing with the police while chanting ‘Let us in,’ waving banners.
The rally was organised as a continuation of the protests against the judgment of Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal, which had issued a ruling last month banning nearly all abortions, with exceptions only for instances of rape, incest, and when keeping a foetus would endanger a woman’s life.
