Satellite photos obtained by 38 North suggest that North Korea could be expanding their nuclear weapons portfolio after the pictures show signs of activity at the Yongbyon Nuclear Science and Weapons Research Centre.
The International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi says the steam plant was being operated after a two year hiatus but noted they could just be prepping to handle radioactive waste.
It comes just one month after the Council of Foreign Relations declared North Korea as the worlds biggest threat because of its nuclear weapons and missile tests.
