Madagascar converts hotels, schools into hospitals as COVID cases surge

Madagascar is witnessing a surge in COVID-19 infections, with schools and hotels now being transformed into makeshift hospitals.
The African island nation has recorded 31,000 cases since the outbreak began last year, 4,000 of them from this week alone.
