A hiker came dangerously close to being attacked by a mountain lion and documented with his cellphone what it was like to be stalked by a predator. “I’m not going to bug you,” Jared Smith said to the animal. “I’m going away.” He calmly and slowly tried to back away on the trail in Utah, but the angry mountain lion suddenly charged him. “The cougar periodically would sprint at me and hiss and show its teeth,” Smith told Inside Edition.
