Fighters opposed to the military government seized a police station in the eastern town of Mobye on Sunday.
It was set on fire, and at least 13 security personnel were captured or killed.
And after facing nearly four months of a violent crackdown – a growing number of young, anti-military protesters are joining ethnic rebel groups for training.
