The British people voted for the Conservative Party but “ended up with the Green Party” and Boris Johnson, who will cover the landscape and seascape with “bird slicing eco-crucifixes,” according to journalist James Delingpole.
“Boris is going to ban petrol cars by 2030, he’s going to ban us from having gas heating in our houses, he’s going to cover the landscape and the seascape with bat chomping, bird slicing, eco-crucifixes,” Mr Delingpole told Sky News.
He said the green left in both the UK and Australia are purely watermelons – “green on the outside, red in the middle” – but also serve as the “new puritans of our age”.
